When confronted by the truth, the Violator threatens Jim and the Freak. Clown plans to put together his own army to bring down the kingdom of Heaven (against the wishes of the "Elders", supposedly, very powerful rulers of Hell).
He then fought his brothers upon his return to Hell. When played by John leguizamo, his bombastic, showman tendencies are even more exaggerated and his personality is that of a crude, crass and lewd old man with a dirty mind, constantly making vulgar jokes and having absolutely no social graces.
The Violator is not a demon to be taken lightly: he has shown many times that he is more than a match for a young Hellspawn. He travels to Connecticut to enlist the help of a fellow demon who now assumes the life of a human and is married to a human as well. This in part fuels his particularly brutal interactions with Spawn: who he is sworn to serve but still holds in extreme contempt for formerly being human. His hands are tied by his role, though, as he cannot kill a Spawn without an order from his superiors.

After Jim and the Freak arrive on the scene, the Violator reveals himself. Though the Violator tells Jim he has the answers he seeks, it is made clear by the Freak, that the Violator is not on his side. In one of their fights Violator, The eldest of the brothers, had aid from Spawn who lent him some of his powers breaking Malebolgia's hold on him and allowing to once again turn back into his demonic form. Vandalizer is extremely strong and fast for his massive size, to make things worse for his enemies his lizard-like skin is extremely tough and can easily repel most attacks. He isn't quite as strong, fast, or tough as the others, but he gets by well enough. he gets a power boots in which his clown form is more taller and wearing a suit while his true form is more bulkier than his previous form. Vandillizer is massive and clearly the strongest of the phelbic brothers easily 3x the size of the violator. For those of you who don’t know… these are the Phlebiac Brothers.
In later issues he is seen plotting something and had a hand in Wanda's death.
Clown has recently reappeared in New York City (how he escaped from Hell is unknown). They are the sons of the Phleboton Spirit of the Upper Ayres and originally servants of Malebolgia.
The Violator is the demonic form of the Clown and Spawn's intended mentor on Earth and one of the famous Phlebiac Brothers.
