It's a good basic (A1/A2) starter book, and for someone who never has learned this language, it's a good book because of the amount of explanation in English that there is. So that's why I'm starting with this book.

However, one pitfall that the book falls into is the overuse of cognates to the point of neglecting to explain all those words that look like cognates and aren’t like “Also”, “Kuchen”, etc.I cannot recommend this book in the Kindle format.
