This provided me with the opportunity to come into town to gather supplies and hangout with other volunteers. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to explore Uganda and be a part of village life with locals, exchange experiences and culture. As an international nonprofit organization, we work directly with community-based organizations and local government to utilize local knowledge and maximize community ownership.
