The mummified body of Imhotep is shipped to a museum in London, where he once again wakes and begins his campaign of rage and terror. La mécanique est une fois de plus similaire aux précédentes histoires : Mathayus (Z. McGowan) est une nouvelle fois sans royaume et attire a lui les ennuis en la personne de Nebserek (P. Mensah) qui, bien évidemment, compte régner en despote grâce a une arme légendaire. Par contre Zach McGowan en Roi Scorpion, c'était la mauvaise idée du moment .En espérant que la suite relie enfin cette saga spin-off a l'histoire du Roi Scorpion dans #LeRetourDeLaMomie. C'est le spécialiste de la suite du film d'action mais de la suite sortant directement en DVD.
