A mystery of twenty years. I often find that with mystery novels I need to have a really strong plot, and either great writing or great characters. I hate it when they class books as 'women's fiction' because it narrows the readers down unnecessary. 'Fresh and intriguing, with characters so real I ached for them. This accusation makes no sense to me, it's nothing like the high-pitched, cartoonish baby-voice unrealistic Americanised speech in South Park. That has never happened to me before, and I took that as I sign that I Found You was a really good book if I was thinking about it as I slept! Usually dispatched within 24 hours
He has no memory of who he is and where he's come from.Hmm . She soon comes to find out he's in a fugue state with no memory of his identity and commits herself to helping him out. This is an excellent novel that will appeal to psychological thrillers of either sex.Oh, man, I loved this! It's only been in the last two years that I have been reading Lisa Jewell's novels and I am quite the fan. Simply reserve online and pay at the counter when you collect. In the end, the fact that I could not put it down and there were some good twists led me to give I Found You 4 stars. Her mother was a secretary and her father was a textile agent and she was brought up in the northernmost reaches of London with her two younger sisters. April 25th 2017 [The peacock artwork Alice creates as an intended gift to Graham/Frank's mom at his sister's funeral....I quite liked the character of Alice and was intrigued by the artistic medium she used for her creations- but I was appalled that she chose a dancing peacock. [Frank/Gray/Graham is my favorite and I feel so terrible for him. I Found You is a wise, compassionate, gripping tale by a storyteller who totally gets people - acting well and acting badly, but mostly muddling through trying our best. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read.
