The mysterious, extra-legal version of The Batman was also good until he…One of the best. A different timeline set after the end of the Korean War. Just a big mess.Watched in preparation for DC Fandome today, which I’m completely psyched about and really hoping is going to be something special.
Our heroes struggle for acceptance in this world that fears them. And the feel of Jack Kirby through especially the latter part of the film. The story itself does a great job of integrating the Golden Age Justice Society days and the Silver Age Justice League days. Gallery view of the voice actors and their characters. The late Miguel Ferrer (playing a hero this time), David Boreanaz, and Neil Patrick Harris were the standouts! In fact, he's arguably the main character. New Frontier seemed to signal a response from DC to meet Marvel in a forum that Disney's powerhouse had not yet been able to crack.Justice League: The New Frontier is a triumph of comic storytelling that expertly harnesses the quirky magic of auteur storyteller Darwyn Cooke. Use www.random.org . Add a Martian Manhunter & Green Lantern origin in the mix, and you have a rushed, yet watchable entry to the DC Animated Universe.Really makes me wonder how the live action Justice League movie was worse than an animated DC movie from 2008 with an almost infinitely smaller budget and a Flash played by Neil Parrick Harris. It's quite nice that the focus was on less popular heroes for once. Watch trailers, read customer and critic reviews, and buy Justice League: The New Frontier directed by Dave Bullock for $9.99. !El comic de Darwyn Cooke que sirve de base era una maravilla, usando numerosos personajes del Universo DC en un tiempo muy determinado: los Estados Unidos a finales de los años 50.With so many characters vying for the spotlight, origin stories to be told as well as the formation of the Justice League itself, "Justice League: The New Frontier" has a tall order to fill in a short running time.Unfortunately, with all the focus on the individuals in the Justice League, I found the main antagonist lacked any real character.

In particular, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, and The Flash.
(Still mad about them cancelling the screening of Superman: Man of Tomorrow, but I’ll probably just rent it tomorrow anyway.)
)Pretty good until the finale, when it becomes a cacophony of battles. Based on Darwyn Cooke's award-winning graphic novel, this thrilling adventure reveals the origin of the Justice League.
I loved the original graphic novel by Darwyn Cooke: modern sensibilities about issues like race and gender, but with bright, clean lines, characters, and scenes.
Cooke was responsible for a number of interesting projects at DC, but perhaps his most popular was the reinvention of Cat Woman at the turn of the century.
The human race is threatened by a powerful creature, and only the combined power of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter and The Flash can stop it. Though he's supposed to be so threatening that the super heroes of the world band together to stop him, I found he was underdeveloped and didn't carry that air of threat at all. It tried to do too much and ended up being ham-handed and simplistic.
